We are Colin and Sandy Suckling of Melbourne, just ordinary Australians about to embark on an extraordinary adventure. Colin 58 & Sandy, 52, are currently in the midst of what has been described as the toughest endurance races in the world - the 4 Deserts Race series. Having completed the Sahara Desert in October 2010 and the Gobi March in June 2011 and the Atacama Desert in March 2012 The last desert in Antarctica was a journey like no other. With 3 days plane travel and 3 days by ship, we arrived at our final destination. 5 days to complete the 250k ultra. Done and dusted. The last of the 4 deserts. Sandy and l are thankful for all the support we have received over the last 2 years. What we set out to achieve has been done. The awareness and funds raised for the ACF will help those in need.
